We close on public holidays. During the winter planting season in the Western Cape, response times may be a little slower as we spend more time on site visits.
A short description of your site helps us give a more grounded reply. Mention your general location, approximate annual rainfall, whether you are on municipal water or borehole supply, and what you are hoping to grow. Photos of the slope and soil are useful when you write about a planned swale or food forest layout.

We are about fifteen minutes from the N2, on a quiet gravel road. Look for the tall blue gum trees at the entrance. Parking is on the grass next to the nursery shed, and the teaching area is a short walk past the compost rows.
The map below marks the main entrance and the workshop barn. If you are using a GPS unit, enter the postal address rather than the street name, as some mapping services still list the old farm name.
From the north:
Take the R44 towards the coast and turn at the sign for the nursery. Follow the road for 2 km until it bends left at the stone wall.
From the south:
Head inland past the old mill, then take the second dirt road on your right. The entrance is marked with a wooden gate.
Visiting hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00. Weekend visits are by appointment only, as we are often out on site.
A short note with your rainfall pattern, plot size, and what you want to grow first is enough. We read every message and reply with practical pointers, not generic advice.
